Gaby Abby Challenges with SEI Week 6

Welcome to another Gaby Abby Challenge with SEI
We are highlighting SEI's Moonrise collection

For this challenge I created a
simple buy yet elegant clutch/purse
My main focus is on the technique
The purse measures 7" w x 5" h using two sheets of 12"x12" paper.
I used a sheet of Moonrise Composure and a sheet of luminous
On to the technique~  You get a cardboard embellishment you like, place it were desired, placed a stitching/foam mat under and pierce stitching holes.  The file is from scrapchick.com bigger bags.
Here you can see the back of the embellishment and my "map" to stitch.
Kathy Martin used a bigger version of this flower on a project for SEI
I really like stitching... and don't know why I haven't done more on my pages or cards...
I learned how to stitch, crochet, etc since I was six!~ Scrapbooking is a 1 year hobby!!

Cooking With Cricut Blog Hop ~ Day Two!

Welcome to GabyCreates and to
Cooking With Cricut Blog Hop Day Two!
I hope you just got here from my BFF Abby, if not start at the beginning HERE

For today I created another Two-Page LO, this time I used the "bear dressed as elf" and the "Puppy in Gift" cutting files you can find at Page-Kits.com
I was inspired by the movie Polar Express
and Melin's LO from a while back-- click on her label Winter Woodland!

Materials or/and techniques used:
Bear as Elf ~ Flocking-white, embossing folders Swiss Dot and Powder Sugar, Glossy Accents on gift bow.
Puppy in Gift ~ Embossing folder Snow Globe, Glossy Accents, Dew Drop, and Puffy Paint red for berries.
Christmas Tree ~ Christmas cartridge, Puffy Dimensional Paint with glitter before heating with heating gun.
Santa's bag ~ Christmas cartridge, embossing folder D'vine Swirls, Scribbles 3D paint for golden cord and Star on tree.
Deer ~ I just realised I forgot the antlers!! ~ Create a Critter cartridge
Sentiment ~ Paper printed with Imagine, cut with Spellbinders, stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Distress embossing powder.
Photo Mats ~ Embossing folder Snowflake
Bell ~ Christmas cartridge
Train ~ Heritage cartridge

Here is a picture of yesterday's LO with pictures!
Hope you like what I created!
If you did, please leave a comment and you
will be entered in today's Giveaway.
